Merry Christmas and Bullets to catch up...

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas. I hope you all enjoy your families and remember the reason for the Season is Jesus and that His life is our greatest gift.

On the adoption front our dossier went to Ottawa to be translated on Dec 2nd. When it's done it will be sent back here then to China. Once it's in China our agency will be waiting for a Log-In-Date. We hope to get a referral and travel as soon as possible! ;O)
I've made a few cakes in the last month too. ;O)
My Friend Dara's Birthday
A sweet little man from China just turned 2! It was an honor to make his cake that he would share with his family while they celebrated a birthday with him for the first time.
This one was for a lady who wanted it for her step Dad. I made a hockey puck before but this one turned out better.
Sugar Pie was in her first Christmas concert! It was so cute to watch her. She was both in the kindergarten part and in the choir. It was so sweet to see her. All the kindergartner's were mice. LOL.

I had the spare room painted and moved Sugar Pie into it. It's a bigger room than the one she was in and I thought it would be nice for her to have the bigger room and give her little brother the smaller room. After Christmas I'll get started on decorating and renovating his room. Sugar graduated from her side rails and with that we lowered her bed. She loves her new room but the first night was a little tough, she wanted her old room back. lol. She's been in her new room for almost a week now and adjusted very well!
Sugar and her pretty pink tree!

GAWW! Yup it's become the catch all room for now. I think we will be doing it all over in the Sears Bobby Jack monkey. They are so cute!

We had a Christmas party at Chinese school on Saturday and later that day Sugar and I went to my Mom's and we made our meat pies. We get together each year to make them. This year Sugar got to help. She made a little pie for herself!
We are almost ready for Christmas, I have to dash out tomorrow to get a few last minute things and some groceries. I have everything wrapped, except for a few things that I'll set out Christmas Eve. House is clean...right now anyway. LOL. Sugar Pie has kindergarten until Wednesday. I may keep her home Wednesday to make cookies or something. My poor sweet husband is working til Thursday, he didn't think they would need him this week and was actually looking forward to a little break. He'll have the week after Christmas anyway, which is good.

On Christmas Eve morning we are going to the airport to welcome home a family that will be coming home a forever family! We are pretty excited, what a perfect way to spend time as a family that to welcome home another family who has just adopted. Can't wait! It will be such a special moment! MERRY CHRISTMAS to you all!!!
