Tons of Fun!

Sugar went to a Princess Birthday Party this past weekend. When we got up on Saturday morning we made the mistake of telling her too early that she would be going to a party and she asked every 5 minutes if it was time to go yet! LOL. I remember when I was a kid and my mom would tell us something exciting we would be doing and I hated the wait. I said I would never do that to my children....but I love seeing them get excited!
Sugar taking a whack at the Pinata! She went wild on that thing!

We made St. Patty's Day cookies and decorated them with sugar free decorations! There is a little shop in Kensington (about 15 minutes away) called "Sweet Nothings", it is a sugar free speciality shop. They have cooking supplies too but their candy selection is awesome!

Don't they look yummy!

Tonight we had our 6 month post adoption report done. I can't believe it's been almost 6 months since we have been home! We had it done a little early because our SW is going out of town for a few weeks. She was quite surprised at how well Sugar is adapting and blooming.

Tomorrow Sugar has 4 year appraisal and updates for her immunisations. I hope it goes better than the blood work appointment last week! Wish us luck!

What a great time!

Parties are just not the same without a pinata. (Being hispanic, we didn't know people actually had parties w/o them! Shocking really) lol.

What a wonderful idea! A store to supplies dessert things without sugar! I wish we had something like that here. I may have to google it. It never occured to me that something like that could exist. And yes, the cookies do look yummy.

Are you guys irish? My husband is. 100%. And you can tell. :p St Paddy's is a big day here. Our oldest daughter was a national champion irish dancer. My world expanded when I married him. lol.

Oh I hope it goes well tomorrow.

Love the cookies. Wish we had a shop like that here. We are always looking for treats that aren't all that bad for you. Do they have a website?
