New Ride...well new to us anyway.

Today we purchased a 2008 Ford Escape. It was driven by an older couple who took amazing care of it. It's fully loaded and has extra perks to boot like an auto start and a 6 CD changer. It's white with grey interior which wouldn't have been my first choice but I'll live. The back seats fold down for extra cargo, which will be great when we go on road trips. You can hardly hear it running it's so quiet! I love it!

I am going to miss my Yellow 2 door Pursuit GT, but my knees won't. I remember when I got it 2 years ago I was sooooo excited but everyone was saying I would like it so much when I had to put a child in a car seat but I argued saying it wouldn't be a problem, after all I'm only 5 ft tall, I can practicaly stand up in the back seat! Well....I swallowed my pride and have to admit they were right. It's hard on the back and little did I know, hard on the knees as well. Perhaps if it was a 4 door rather than 2 it wouldn't have been an issue...but who wants a 4 door Pursuit GT! I guess I'm getting older and wiser ;O).

This will be a much more practical vehicle for us, and it still is sporty...not ready for the Mom Van yet! LOL. Ya, you laugh now...perhaps down the road if our family grows we will consider....but alas NOT YET!

Oh that car looks fantastic!!!

How fun. Sporty, cute and definitely not a van. lol.

Whenever it came time for us to buy a new car, I just couldn't do a van. Nothing wrong with them, actually they look very practical. But not me. We have a truck and an Outback.

6 CD changer?????? HOW COOL!!!!
