LSC!!!!

We got the call yesterday for our Letter of Seeking Confirmation! We'll go to the province to sign it tomorrow!!! Our agency called and sent us our forms for our travel visa's. Later in the day the travel agent called and we booked our trip. I can hardly believe all of that happened yesterday! My head was just spinning with excitement! When the travel agent asked us to pay for our flight I literally almost threw up with excitement, not at the cost but at the fact that once I gave him our credit number we would be confirmed to fly.....to China....to ...finally GET OUR GIRL!!! I can't wait! We travel on Sept 12th and "finally-got-you-in-our-arms-forever-day" is the 14th!! AHHH! These are exciting times! Jazmyn we are coming!!!!

Her room is empty right now, just waiting for her bed set to arrive at Sears so we can go pick it up! With all the excitement and loose ends that need to be tied with dots of I's and crossing of T's I opted not to go on the mission trip to Nain, Labrador next week. It was a hard decision to make but there are some things that need to be taken care of here over the next 2-3 weeks that require me to be here in person. I can hardly wait to hear how blessed the little town of Nain will be when our mission team visits them. I will be praying for safe travels and many blessings.

So, I guess the next thing is our TA (Travel Approval). I sent off the Visa forms today with our passports(should be back by next Wednesday)and this time I got a TRACKING NUMBER! Remember when I sent my exam and it got lost in the mail! I couldn't believe I didn't get a tracking number! Well, I was S.M.R.T this time and I remembered, lesson learned!
Need to start collecting the necessary documents to take with us, start writing some checks, making lists and checking them twice plus work on the "List-O-Demands" on the fridge of things we would like to have done before we travel. I think I'll post it and cross it off as we go...can someone tell me how you draw a line threw your words? I've always wanted to know but could never figure it out ;O)

I went out yesterday for coffee with one of my dear friends who comes to the Island every summer. She and her husband have adopted 2 beautiful children from China. We chatted for an hour and a half non stop! She gave me a few books and a DVD that is English/Chinese. One of the books she gave me was "When You Were Born In China" it's a memory book for children adopted from China with a wonderful way of explaining to your child gently what happened when they were a baby. I will hold on to this one for the day she asks...hopefully quite a few years from now but I'll be prepared a little with this resource. She also gave us "I Don't Have Your Eyes" by Carrie A. Kitze and Maya's Journey Home by Susan E. Lindsley and Tina L. Christiansen. Thanks Marcha, you are a wonderful woman of wisdom. I adore you!

Oh and ummm............46 more sleeps to Jazmyn day!!!!!

Congrats on the referral and LSC! Our daughter is from Jiamusi CWI in Heilongjiang... and we went last November. Be glad you're going in September! Even November was bone chilling cold!

Do go to the acquarium - it is really great!

If you would, please email me at motherhood48@yahoo.com. I need to tell you a few things about Heilongjiang privately.

And little Jazmyn is beautiful... she is going to love having a family!

Debz I love your "Finally got you in our arms forever day" can I use that??? I just love it!!!

I just cant wait to see her in your arms....soon!!

Our "baby" left for her first mission trip on tuesday, she is in the underdeveloped parts of the Bahamas doing a street ministry. We are so proud of her, but it has been really hard for this "momma" to let go and let GOD!!! I trust that he wil protect her but not being in control is very hard for me.

Again Debz I just cant wait to see you with your babygirl, oh and that Grandbutton is adorable!!

Love and blessings, Kristy
