Happy CNY!

Happy Chinese New Year Everyone. Tonight my Hubby and I are planing to dine Chinese style. He has the flu so we will have to get take out. Which is a shame because our adoption group is meeting there to celebrate tonight. Bummer!

I'm hoping decorate my front bay window with Chinese dye cuts. We don't have a store around us that we can purchase decorations for the occasion so this will do. Now I wish when we went to Chinatown in Vegas that I would have grabbed some stuff. Always the way isn't it? It will be fun to see what you are all doing to celebrate.

This was a picture I took of a part of Chinatown in Vegas.

Gung Hay Fat Choy!!

We're all sick so I'm making home made Chinese food tomorrow. I took a language / culture class last year and they taught us how to make authentic dumplings.

I saw some nice stuff on www.chinasprout.com. Too late to order now but maybe you can take advantage of any specials to buy for next year. That's what I'm planning to do.
