Just wanted to "thank everyone" for your thoughts and prayers! God is amazing. He has heard us. Wednesday morning BIL was in surgery and later that evening I was talking to him on the phone! He was so incredibly thankful and in tears of gratitude for the prayers offered on his behalf. The Dr. said the're pretty sure they got all of the cancer in his brain this time. He said if there was anything it would be microscopic. So I'm praying against the chance that that would be possible.
Something unexplained happened the day before John's surgery. He was in his room and he seen a note on his bedside table that read " Get well soon, I love you." Mom. His mom died 15 years ago. He mentioned to the nurses that someone must have put the note in the wrong room. The nurses were baffled, not having seen anyone around the rooms or knowing who it would have been intended for. He left it all that. Later that day his brother came to visit him, they went down to the cafeteria for a beverage and when they came back there was another note on his bed this time saying "Hope your feeling better soon." Love Mom. There was an angel on the stationary and once again the nurses were baffled. His brother was pretty weirded out by the whole thing too! Can you imagine the peace in his heart before he went into surgery. I truly believe there are angels among us. We are now praying for a quick recovery. Praise God!
We have been working on something else to surprise him and his wife and kids but I can't let the cat out of the bag yet but suffice to say they are going to be extremely blessed!!
