Happy Harvest Moon from Long Beach!

This is Jac and I saying good bye before we leave for California. Guess my G'Babe wanted to say good bye too cause he gave a kick as Shane snapped the camera!
This we me putting my foot in the water in the east coast before we left. Tomorrow I will put my other foot in the west coast!

The drive to Halifax (3 hours) was great. We were early but everything went smooth. Flew to Montreal (1 1/2 hours) then in Montreal we waited 2 hours before the flight to LA (Which was 5 1/2 hours.) Luggage was there waiting for us! YAY! It was a very smooth ride with no complications at all. We too a shuttle to the car rental and while there the lady told us she would up grade our affordable Ford Focus :o( to a convertible Ford Mustang for only 5 dollars more a day :o)! It was a long day so we just followed the GPS to the hotel for the night.
Today is the Harvest Moon Festival. I'm hoping that somewhere today we will see some celebrating going on on our travels.
So to everyone back home we are safe and sound and it is a beautiful day! Sending our love! We are just getting ready to go for breakfast then church at Saddleback Ranch.
