26th LID!

Wow I can't believe we are half way threw August already. Whasupwitdat? Tomorrow we leave for the Atlantic Youth Festival for the weekend. I can't believe it was a year ago that we went. Last years trip click HERE. We had a great time and I'm looking forward to this year being bigger and better. I really am believing our youth are ready to step up and go deeper. Our church hired an intern for the summer from the church in Halifax and she has been staying with us (in Sunshine's old room) and our youth have really connected with her. Here is a picture of Joanna below. She and Jac are the same age so they've hit it off well and have lots in common. She is an amazing gal who knows where she stands in her faith. What a model she has been for our girls this summer. I'm really going to miss her when she goes home this fall.~~~~~~~~~~~~~ JOEY~~~~~~~~~~~~~
While I'm away we will hit our 26th LID anniversary so I'm posting early to commemorate the milestone. 136 days worth of files before they get to ours! I think at this point all of us who stick with the wait at this point are lifers. Unless of course God has a better plan.

Congrats to everyone who received referrals this last batch! Especially "Alyson & Ford" Alyzabeth An is breathtakingly radiating with beauty! I stood here in front of my computer yesterday and just said "God, I know that the rumor is that there were only 2 days done this month but Please if it's not too late can there be more?" and I opened my eyes to see that they had referred 6!!! I was so excited.

Oh!!!!!!!!!! Ps. Remember the basket/wheelbarrow draw we did for my bro-in-law? We raised $2000.00 for him! They were overjoyed with shock and emotions when we handed them the money. Today is his last appointment for his radiation treatments. He'll have a couple weeks break from that before he starts on a heavier dose of chemo then he goes back for an MRI around the 28th to see how the treatments went. He said he believes it is all gone...we told him will believe it with him. Please say a prayer for him that it is ALL gone.

Ok all you lurkers out there, I see I've hit over 30 thousand hits on my blog and there are about 30-40 each day...I don't expect everyone to write a comment every time they visit but it would be nice to see who is hiding like a fly on the wall out there so come on out...come out, come out where ever you are....come out with your hands up and just say hi.
