Fuwa
Last night on the Vision network I watched one of a series of programs they aired about different aspects of China, the one I watched was called "Bring It On, Beijing" it was about the Olympics which btw are now only 14 days away. Anyhow a segment of the program was interviewing people about what they thought of the Fuwa mascots. The city of Beijing has been merchandising Fuwa products left right and center from key chains to t-shirts, plush toys to the cartoon series of which I believe there are 100 episodes......I would love to get my hands on a few of the videos. There isn't much at all on sale yet here in Canada promoting the Olympics. Perhaps they are holding off until the Olympics actually start. Either way if anyone hears tell of a place that is selling the videos PLEEEEEEZZZZE let me know?! ;O)

Very cool! Sorry, I don't know where to get them. When we were in Beijing last summer we saw these characters everywhere. On t-shirs, hats, buttons, magnets, etc. Even on our new Wii game - Beijing Olympics, they are in the background.
Yep - they were definitely everywhere in Beijing last year. I have a keychain with one of them on it!
Don't know where to get the videos though! Bummer!
How cute...
Have a Great Weekend..
I am ready to watch too...
