A man pulled into the driveway when Shane was outside the other day and handed him this card, wished him a Happy New Year and drove off. He didn't recognise the man right away but knew as soon as he opened the card who it was. It was from the man in the accident and he just wanted to thank Shane and let him know how grateful he was. He was probably so relieved that he and his children were alive so they could enjoy the holidays together that it reminded him of the things he was thankful for. He gave Shane a couple of gift certificates and a beautiful card. What a blessing for him to know how his small act of kindness touched someones life and left such an impression.

Thanks Dannye for the Blogging with a Purpose award that you nominated me for....I am thrilled that you think I blog with a purpose but I have to admit sometimes I wonder. ;oP
Once again I just simply cannot bring myself to only pick 5 so if you haven't been nominated and I've commented on your blog then you must have a blog with a purpose so congrats on your award and please accept.
These are the guidelines for this award:
AWARD GUIDELINES:
1. Awarded parties must nominate five people who have not received the award.
2. The blogs that receive the award must serve some purpose.
3. In their post about the award they need to link back to the original entry.
4. Awarded parties must post the award banner on their site. The banner must remain linked to Eric Novak's site.

What a wonderful story about your husband. How many people drove by and just looked that day without stopping to help. I'm glad the man recovered enough to drive himself to your home.
