Random Ramblings

I was in the kitchen today and I had the screen door of the sliding patio doors open and a strange dog came up my back step and Midgie (our cat) went postal on me!!! I tried to block her until I got the door closed and ouuuuuuuuuuuuuuch! she BIT ME!!!! PFFFFT! What the hell??? Where was my dog in all of this you say? Seems the cat is the watchdog in this house! Only not playing the right team! I couldn't believe it she spit on me too!! ROFLMAO!!!! I love her anyway. he he!
ps. I have had my tetnus shot and she has all her shots so were good.

So here is the picture....doesn't it look like a snake bite? I think the scratches on the sides were from the razor sharp teeth beside her fangs. (Don't mind the big vein sticking out on the right, I inherited that from my Gramma ;O) good thing she didn't chomp into that!! eeeewwwwww gross!!! sorry I said that!)

Just for my ladybug sighting documenting sake. I seen 1 ladybug on Friday Aug 3rd while walking down my road, and 3 while walking with my husband on the boardwalk in town yesterday August 5th.
We actually walked to the old abandoned spa and on our way we came across a huge nest with either 5 eagles, hawks or osprey in it. Here is a picture. When we got up to the old spa 4 of the 5 came out of the nest and flew around the spa as if they were tour guides showing us around. It was awesome.

PS. Kristin, I knew you could do it! Congrats! She guessed the correct answer to the riddle in my last post!!!
You have $100.00 and you have to start a hobby farm and you have to purchase 100 animals. Cows are $10.00, pigs are $5.00, and chickens are .50 cents. How many of each will you have to buy?
She embraced the challenge and got 1 cow,9 pigs, and 90 chicks= 100 animals for $100.

Jaclyn found 1 yellow ladybug in her hair at the ball park on August 5th
Shane seen 1 ladybug in the back yard on Aug. 6th
I seen 5 on walk Aug 7th, I kept picking them up off the road and putting them in the grass.

Ouch! Even if your kitty has had her shots and is an indoor kitty, you should get a tetnus shot if you have not had one in the last 5 to 7 years. Poor thing! Sorry she got scarde.

Wow, our cat nips, but nothing like that. Other animals freak them out though, I wouldn't blame her either.
Cool nest.

Ouch!! Keep an eye on that...cat bites are notorious for becoming infected.
What's with you & ladybugs btw?! They seem to follow you around!

I would hate to be someone caught breaking into your house - your cat doesn't mess around!

Owwwie that looks like it hurt. And I didn't know cats can spit. I know that it's not funny, but the whole idea of your cat looking at you ticked as can be that you let an unknown dog near her, then spitting a loogie at you just makes me laugh!!
