Official Cutoff November 21st-Do the Math

Well it's official only 7 days again. I really hope next month they can put November to rest. I know it was a huge month, has anyone heard if December was also? Uggg, I hope not.
Congrats to all the families receiving referrals. If you stop by my blog or if anyone hears of anyone who received theirs leave me a comment...I need my referral fix!

So rather than doing the math with 7 days and trying to figure out how many more months to go before you get your referrals let me challenge you to a brain teaser. Who will be the first to answer this skill testing question?

You have $100.00 and you have to start a hobby farm and you have to purchase 100 animals. Cows are $10.00, pigs are $5.00, and chickens are .50 cents. How many of each will you have to buy?

Debbie: here is the answer.
You & Shane will start the hobby farm, purchase the animals, let us know how many cows, pigs & chickens you have. You will have fresh eggs every morning. In a couple months, you can stock your freezer. The animals will multiply. Before we go to China, you can sell the animals which will pay for your trip.

(I'm a counselor, not a mathematician :) )

Okay, every once in a while I am in the mood for a math problem.
1 cow = $10
9 pigs = $45
90 chickens = $45
which equals 100 animals & $100

I hope that you have a large property. 90 chickens is quite a bit & then you need room for the pigs & the cow :)
