Retail "Therapy" Personified

I got up on Sunday morning and turned on the tele to see this infomercial. I have been struggled with on and off upper back pain for years. I have tried every pill, exercise, chiropractor, massage therapist, and am now in physiotherapy, but nothing seems to completely rid me of this on and off again anoying ache. I have seen different stretches and exercises done with the exercise ball but I hate using it because I am always trying to balance myself on it. The bean is the exact ergonomic shape to contour your body so that you will not fall off and if you turn it upside down and stretch over it you will get a great back stretch with "little effort". ( This was the feature that sold me!) Yeah little effort! I ordered-er-up. Can't wait to see how it works.

The Bean works the abs, the obliques, and the core. All at the same time working
them faster, better and more effectively than any other device or machine on the
market.

The rocking motion of the bean allows you automatically combine three exercises in one: a crunch, a pelvic tilt, and a leg raise. You are doubling the effects on both the upper and lower abs, it’s this rocking action that’s doing all the work.

"The results that we saw with The Bean were much greater than I expected and more extraordinary than what I typically see with exercise devices. The external obliques, the upper abdominals, the lower abdominals, were working much harder. " -Daniel Cipriani, Ph.D. San Diego State University

The Bean is an all-in-one workout tool that offers the benefits of a stability ball, incline bench and "back pain rehab device" all rolled into one product. Whether you're a well-conditioned athlete or someone just getting back into shape, The Bean offers a workout that's right for you.

I hope it works too! And if you don't like it, you can just boil it up, put some salt on it,and voila! Beans have a lot of fibre.....:-)
