Sugar and Spicey Things

Cutest little raspberry a Nana ever seen. I can hardly comprehend where the last 9 months went, and then again I don't remember what life was without this little joy in our lives. I get her all to myself on Thursdays for a couple of hours between Mommy going to work and Daddy coming home. I look for all kinds of excuses to go to town just to pop my head in and snag a kiss from her too. She is such a little sweety. Just like her Mommy is...who Ps. has started her own blog as of just yesterday....gosh, is this becoming a hereditary trait? LOL. Any who pop over and say hi to her and welcome her to the blogiverse. She has been having fun with the 12 or so totes of stuff from Jazmyn's room of clothing for 18-24 months, there are still a few dresses here that look big that may possibly fit Jazmyn so I'll hang on to them until I can see for myself, if not then Miss K will be getting those too....hand-me-downs with tags on. It's nice that Miss K can get some use out of them and it helps Jac out a bit too. Miss K is growing out of her clothes at the speed of lightning!

The laundry room is fully completed, Jazmyn's room is painted and I'm working on giving all the doors in the house a fresh coat of white paint. That will be my project until the bedroom set I ordered arrives. I went with the mate's bed so she would have the drawers under it for toys and books ect. Hubby will take the crib apart and bring that set over to his sisters place cause they have some friends who are looking for a nursery set. I'll wait until it is all put together before I take pics.

I just realized my 37th LID would have been last week. It feels weird not blogging a post about it. It was very disheartening to see that they only got threw 2 days worth. Hopefully once they have this big month behind them things will start to rapidly speed up.

We are at day 37 since we signed LOI. Hoping to hear something soon. I asked on a couple of yahoo forums if anyone has heard anything but it's pretty quiet out there right now. Please pray it comes before August 2 when I'm supposed to go on a mission trip. I don't want to go and miss the call. It would give me so much peace of mind knowing something...anything.

Jazmyn would have received our package by now....I keep wondering what she was thinking about when she seen the pictures of us holding a picture of her. I would imagine the workers have explained to her what is happening, wouldn't they? I hope and pray she can find some comfort in those pictures and that the transition won't be too hard on her. I know my heart is breaking for her.

I'm expecting a coffee date with this bloggy friend sometime this weekend or threw the week. She and her family are on vacation from central Canada. I can't wait to meet her and the girls! I have watched these girls blossom and bloom for I think almost 3 years now. I love meeting bloggy friends in person! Not that I've done it many times but it sure is exciting when you do! I'll take pictures ;O)

Have a blessed week everyone!

Ms. K is adorable! That raspberry hat is super sweet on her! Amazing to know you have a daughter over there- so frustrating to know you have to wait to go and bring her home. You are in my prayers.
Enjoy your coffee!!
