Still Floating!!!

We are so excited! Our feet haven't touched ground yet! My heart is beating to a new drum....I never want this feeling to go away! I can't WAIT to see the Beijing sunrise on the morning that we will finally have her in our arms. We had so much fun this past week telling all our friends and family and watching their reaction! The most memorable for me was when we told everyone at church...our pastor asked us to come to the front and we shocked everyone! I had taped a video of referral day and out creative arts pastor put together a beautiful video for footage and pictures. There wasn't a dry eye in the place! What a celebration it was! We are so excited!
Today I will send off a little care package to our little Jazmyn. I have taped little pictures and her name and info on each item. This is so exciting!
In the next few weeks I plan to do a lot of things around the house. First and foremost is to change a nursery that has been sitting empty for three years (not in vain) into a little girls room. I'm painting her room "Spring Fern" and accessorizing in different tones of pink. I'm a little excited about this!!!!
This little rug was a perfect color match! I love it! The butterflies are adorable.
This is something else I'm going to try to do....we went out to China Star for supper on Saturday and one of the young girls working there told me about the library carrying this so I went out and got it as soon as I could. I would like to learn some easy basic phrases.
Remember last year when we had "Sunshine" staying with us? Well, her mom is hoping to travel to China if possible around the same time we are! That would be so awesome to see where they lived. She said it wasn't far from where the Olympics were held. How exciting is that!
I was also talking to a old school mate on facebook that I went to school with. Tim is organizing our 20 year school reunion. He moved to Hong Kong for work and as he was planning and trying to find out who all was coming (in his words "how big of a barn do I need for all you animals?") he realized what we were doing and offered us a place to stay if we wanted and to be a travel guide if we wanted! I thought that was very generous. We will probably stay mostly with the group but we hope to take at least one day and meet up with Tim and Vitre for coffee at least. Then try to spend a day with Sunshine's mom. We are so excited!
Did I mention we're a little excited?
Com'on LSC and TA! Move That Bus!
