Catch-Up Bullets

* Had a surprise "Tea Party" yesterday for my Mom's 60th birthday, it was wonderful. Today is her actual birthday. Happy Birthday Mom. We love you! (Mom is one sipping her tea, Aunt Jean, Uncle John to the left and my sister Lori to the right)

* Remember my friend Kim who was waiting for an appointment for citizenship to the US so she and her fiance from Michigan could get married? Well she has her appointment for July! We are so happy for them finally! She set the wedding date for August 1st! We had her wedding shower on Friday night and it was wonderful!

* My long time bloggy friend Shannon sent me this beautiful fabric over 2 years ago and I have been holding on to it to have a dress made for our daughter but didn't know what size to have it made in. Well I sent it to the seamstress last week and I can't wait to see it finished! I had a work shirt made out of some of it and I LOVE it!

* I also ordered a pair of Bloomer pants in white from CORA and a Peasant outfit in a "Cherry Print". I can't wait to see them! I can't wait to see Jazmyn in them!

* We have been puttering around the house trying to do the things we would like to do and have done before we go to China. I am going to have to make a list and prioritize it. I have the paint picked out for the new "Little Princess's" room. I just have to finish the laundry room first. I love my new washer and dryer! I looks like the Jetson's! I love the little digital noises it makes! Best of all is how much laundry I can fit in them!

Before and in the midst of after.
* Sent in my "Final Life Report" and got my final report back for my course. I got a 4.0 average! Yay! Taking a break for the summer and will pick up my next course in the fall if all goes well.

* My dear friend Chantal come over today and dropped of a CD. She wrote Shane and I a song about the wait for our daughter. Her husband has a recording studio and she had it recorded for us. I can't download it and play it until she gets it copy writed. I can't wait for you to hear it. I think I will put it on our "Gotcha Day Video".

* Our little Grandbutton cut her first tooth this week! Poor little pumpkin was in pain. Can you believe she is 8 months old already!

* Ordered some new molds and scents for candle melts. I can't wait to start making them. I made a few gingerbread men in Pumpkin Spice, Cinnamon Swirl and Cinnabun. My house smells so good! * Well there is most of the goings on in our world at the present time. Hope you all have a wonderful week. Tomorrow I go for my second set of needles at the travel clinic then my friend Jocelyne and I will go out for dinner for her 40th birthday! Happy 40th Jo! I Love you! (Jo and I have our picture taken at "Grampa's" every couple of years.)

Love the washer and dryer...we just got a set like yours and it's awesome! With 5 kids I couldn't keep up with the laundry and now I'm looking for laundry to do so I can use the new set...hahahaha.

Take care!!!
