Zoo Pics and Updates.
Jac sitting pretty!
Sunshine after we picked up her report card, you might guess by the look on her face she did fantastic. The wall behind her is a wall in the school that for a fee they let the kids sign a brick. Thought it would be a cool backdrop. Congrats Sunshine! I never doubted you for a second. Best wishes for your future endeavors.
Here are just a handful of the pics I took while at the zoo with the girls. We had a great time and the rain held off just long enough for us. After the zoo we went to the mall for a little "shoppy, shoppy". All in all it was a fantastic day, one we will always remember.
Update on My brother in law:
He starts radiation this week.
He is feeling great.
Insurance will cover a percentage of his treatments.
(Big worry off our backs.)
I plan to make a basket and sell tickets to help
out a bit even if for fuel costs.
We are believing for complete healing.
Update on Bailey:
The vet called and climbed aboard her soap box explaining
procedures and prices, tests and prices, complications and prices
and didn't stop for a good 10 min until I finally interrupted her
and told her I didn't want his last days to be remembered suffering
because of all the stuff they want to do to him with 0% guarantee
because of his little heart and the fact he is 10. His back is
100% better, he is rolling around on it like nothing ever happened
and he doesn't show any signs of discomfort so we are just going
to see how long he can remain happy and at the first sign of
discomfort we will do what we have to. She then said "....and that's
the other option..." So who knows he could stay with us another 6
months or a year or longer right? I mean if it wasn't for his fall
we would have never known yet about his heart trouble or kidneys.
They don't do heart or kidney transplants on animals so why go
poking and pronging at him if we would only loose him in the end
and have watched him suffer.
Update on Sunshine:
We have her here with us for 4 more days then she moves back home.
I'm going to miss having her here. It was a great experience. She was very quiet which was not something I'm that used to. Jaclyn was always the type of kid who you needed to entertain and Sunshine is content to have her head in a book, so I had to let myself of the hook sometimes when I would be panicking that she must be bored. She was easy to Cook for and loves my cooking ;O). It was fun making her new things to eat and getting her opinion on some of my inventions.
I went to the store yesterday and bought a few artist canvases and some Chinese calligraphy brushes and we will be painting Chines symbols for words like love, family, home, happiness etc. on them as a fun project to spend time with her.
Oh and saving the best for last! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY MOM WHO IS 59 TODAY!!!!!! She would want you to know she doesn't feel a day over 90...that's my Mom, always cracking a joke.
LOVE YOU MOM!
