The Chapman Family

My heart is crying out for the unthinkable has happened. Steven Curtis Chapman and wife Mary Beth have lost their youngest daughter. Please pray for this family. No words can express the sympathy we feel.
May God give them devine comfort at this time.

The five-year-old daughter was taken home to Jesus lastnight from the driveway of the Chapman family’s Williamson County home in Tennessee.

Maria, Chapman’s youngest of six children, was playing in the driveway when she was struck by a Toyota Land Cruiser.

A statement on Chapman’s website says, “Maria was rushed to Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital in Nashville, transported by LifeFlight, but died of her injuries there.”

Chapman and his wife, Mary Beth, co-wrote a song entitled “Maria” for his 1992 album, The Great Adventure.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Chapman family.

This is so horrible. I cringe everytime I read about these kind of accidents. It can happen to anyone at anytime. My heart goes out to this family.
