My dear husband was working in Nova Scotia last week and was sent a work order to go to New Brunswick before heading home for the weekend. While driving along a deer shot out of the ditch and ran right into him. He was completely fine but pretty shook up because he's never killed an animal before.
I had to commend him for his quick thinking. He maintained control of the vehicle and took a nano second to check his rear view mirror to see the tractor trailer coming behind him and opted not to panic and slam on the breaks.
Thank heavens my boii is OK.

I'm glad your hubby is okay. I've hit a deer once...scary. It came out of no where and slammed into my front headlight. It took out my light and he died.

Ooooh! That looks nasty! Out here, the only thing that jumps out of the bushes are kangaroos! And man! Can they mess up your car!

My hubby hit a deer last winter coming home from work, it sure shakes you up.
Your husband is so lucky. God was watching out for him. I am surprised that the car looks better than what I would expect.

I am constantly looking for them while I drive...they are everywhere out by us! Glad the hubs was ok....so sorry about the car though! ;(
