Chinese New Year Gifts

Above is a gift from our billet's family. A book with a collection of the 12 symbols of the luner years paper cuts with a write up on each one. I am amazed that these paper cuts are cut out of one piece of tissue paper and dyed so many beautiful colors. They are so delicate! There was also a Chinese liquer set incased in a beautiful box. The card is a Chinese New Year card that they sent from China when they were there a month ago to visit their family. Imagine how excited I was to see a postmark from China on an envelope in my mailbox. Truely gifts that I will treasure forever.
