This is my happy place, Victoria-By-The-Sea. I lived here with my family until I was 6 when my dad passed then we moved away....a part of me still remains there...a place where the world had not yet exposed it's sorrows, hurts, pains or hard times. At Christmas time I had to go back there to escape from the hustle and bustle to just sit and remember....so I took a day and did just that. Here is exactly what I see and hear when I reflect back to that day.
EDIT: DH informs me that during the credits the "d" didn't show up when I wrote God...so the first line should read "Praise be to God" plus I really just wanted to say it again! ;O)

I could seriously live there, thanks for taking me back. ;)
Deb, we stayed at The Orient bed and breakfast(at that time owned by a couple from Guelph Ont.).
I loved the chocolate shop there too, the lady kept bees just like my hubby and I.
Thanks for sharing your memories with us!!
I've been there too!!!
What a sweet place. Thank you for sharing your happy place. =)
Touching movie. And you are so right indeed. I was just saying to Todd, how incredible our journey to our daughter has been. The people we have connected with, the strangers that cross our paths who are adopted or have been adopted and speak with us, as if they've never been able to share before. Its been incredible. Our lives a certainly planned (down to the finest detail), by our Creator ~ all we need to do is choose to follow.
