My Sisters Prayer

I thought I'd share this all with you as it is my prayer for many of you as well. My little sister wrote down this prayer and gave it to me at church today, it is awesome.

It's 5:30 am on August 4th,2007 I've been awaken and prompted to pray by the Holy Spirit to pray for my niece in China.

Dear loving and Heavenly Father. You are a compassionate and nurturing God.Who delights in faith filled prayers of praise and petition from your children. How faithful You are for your unconditional love and protection.
Father God there is one, a little one, whom you've created, whom you've chosen to be a part of our family. How blessed we are Lord that you have in all your wisdom and perfect knowledge hand picked Debbie and Shane out of everyone in this world to be the perfect parents who you've designed for her. Lord how wonderful a thought it is to ponder and realize that across the world in China you are working your plans in the hearts of all who will be involved in this adoption process.
Father we pray that you send forth a legion of angels to encompass around this little girl. Father may she have tremendous favor with all the people who will be/are in charge of her care. Father may her cries of hunger, being wet, uncomfortable or lonely spark a fire of compassion in all who hear her.
Father make sure she is cuddled & snuggled beyond her needs. Make sure she is fed nutritional milk and food. I pray she is given special attention and lots of opportunities to develop healthy motor skills. Father I pray that, in the spiritual realm you are working a sense of strong maternal bond and familiarity between this child and her soon to be parents. Father send her both their scents, through the winds of your greatness to her. Father I pray that the first time Debbie and Shane touch this little girl that she will have a strong sense of comfort. I pray that there will be no fear Lord as you've gone ahead and prepared the way.
Father I pray that if it is your will that this process timeline will be shortened, Father we know you are able to do miraculous things, for you are Almighty! Father we thank you that you are so perfect and loving that you have already thought of and been actively working on all that we petition. we thank You Lord that you love this little girl more than we could ever fathom. We thank you Lord for protecting her and for all you are going to do in her life and in the lives of us, her new family. Father most of all we thank you for adopting us into your eternal family, for paving the pathway for us to you, for going ahead and making sure each step was planned out perfectly. Father we are grateful for your faithfulness and that we can trust you with all the details, both big and small with the adoption process. May your name be glorified through it Lord, may others recognize your favor over each detail, Lord we love you and we know you love us.
In Jesus' precious name. AMEN 6:18 am.

That was INCREDIBLE! I remember when I was waiting for Lily sometimes I couldn't even find the words to pray (the emotions were running so wild) and I took such comfort in knowing that I had loved ones praying me thru!
Your sister is such a blessing -- she will be an incredible auntie!
