Planting a Terra Cotta Tree

Get one large pot and 4 smaller ones and a garden staff or a post that will fit into the holes at the bottom of the pot. Set all the pots inside each other in the spot your wanting your terra cotta tree displayed. Insert the garden staff and push into the ground far enough that it feels sturdy. Lift the four smaller pots and fill bottom one with soil.
Take the bottom of the smaller pot out and slant it to the side then set the next one to the opposite side leaning against the garden staff till all the pots are tipped. Then add soil to each pot.
Add whatever plant you like to each pot and watch them overflow with beautiful blooms all summer! Enjoy!!! I have this big one and on the side of my house I have a tiny one on the other side also. They are a fun optical illusion for your guests.

Rumors are flying around that the CCAA is sending out a batch up to November 7th LID's. It's not as good as the rumor that was circulating earlier in the month of referrals up to the 20th, but on the lighter side it is not 2 days worth! Here's to all of you who get to finally see your babies faces this month! I'll be on the look out hanging onto your shirttails and celebrating with you.

That is a cool idea. I have 4 strawberry plants and I was trying to decide what/how I wanted to plant them. I might just have to try this with them this weekend.

Here's to hoping they get deep into the month, though it isn't looking that way, is it?

Oh My Gosh! I am going out right now to buy the pots. That is BEYOND adorable. Thanks for the great idea!!! My friend will love this for her birthday. She has a beautiful yard full of flower gardens and she will die of shock when I give her this. She won't be expecting it from moi.

Wow!! I love it. I've been looking for a way to have some nice planters on my small deck. I'm heading out to the garden shops right after school. I'll post a pic of mine after it's done. You are really creative.
