My First Real Craving! LOL

DQ it Right

! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! My Crave was Not satisfied last night! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

Here is what happened, last night my DH and I were watching Extreme Makeover Home Edition and I don't know if it was PMS or PAS (Pre Adoption Syndrome)! I took a craving for something that I really could take or leave any other time. It was a DQ Banana Split...I couldn't get it out of my head. So my darling DH said he would go in and get one for me. I told him he didn't have to but I think he enjoyed the fact that he could be my hero if he did ;O) .

So I'm sitting all curled up on the blanket watching the tele and his headlights shone down the driveway!!!!!!!! My heard skipped a beat and I took a deep satisfying breath, he came into the room and handed it to me like it was the most beautiful bouquet of delicate flowers and my mouth watered I gently took it from his strong manly hands and put the sweet little red spoon in my mouth while I popped the clear protective dome off the decadent desert and then it happened my heart sank and my mouth dropped open in disbelief!!!!! There before me was the poorest excuse for a nanner split I'd ever seen! ,,,three clumps of ice cream a couple squeezes of whipped cream and a sprinkle of "Score bits " over top! No Nanner? No Caramel sauce? No Strawberry sauce? NO CHOCOLATE sauce? This is against the law people well it may not be but it is definitely morally wrong! I was robbed! I could of cried but alas I held my cool and let it slide off my back and still let my DH take the credit for being my hero.

I got up and going this morning and I made a polite call to the local DQ and put in a complaint ( PSSSST! I never do things like this but I thought I had pretty good grounds). The manager answered and was VERY helpful, he enjoyed the laugh! He took my name and address and said he hoped I would get another craving and is sending me 2 certificates for 2 Banana Splits! Anyone up for it? My treat! LOL Now I'm SATISFIED

I will spend the rest of my day running back to the computer working off lastnights calories while I wait to hear news from Jen to see if she had her baby, she went in this morning! And to see Channing's sweet little face!
